Le taux d'IVG (Interruption volontaire de grossesse) chez les adolescentes reste élevé malgré de nombreuses mesures visant à l'accès à la contraception. La prévention auprès des adolescentes reste donc un enjeu majeur de santé public. Le médecin généraliste est le principal professionnel de santé que les adolescentes rencontrent, et représente donc l'un des principaux acteurs pour faire cette prévention auprès des adolescentes. II est donc Intéressant de comprendre les causes et les conséquences de l'IVG chez ces jeunes femmes en explorant leur vécu de l'IVG pour en tirer des mesures de prévention en Médecine Générale. Pour cela, nous avons réalisé une étude qualitative par 10 entretiens semi-directifs dans un Centre de Planification Familiale et d'Education Familiale de Perpignan. II en ressort comme facteurs favorisant la survenue d'une grossesse: méconnaissance ou mésusage des moyens de contraception, ambivalence des mineures devant la survenue de grossesse, l'entourage de la patiente. Par ailleurs, l'IVG n'entraîne pas de regrets quand celle-ci est choisie par la patiente et non imposée. Mais l'IVG reste un moment fort dans la vie de l'adolescente parce qu'elle fait intervenir une humanisation de l'embryon ou du fœtus, et qu'elle est vécue comme un élément déclencheur de maturation chez elle, notamment au niveau de l'éducation à la sexualité. Ainsi l'éducation de la sexualité et l'accès aux contraceptions auprès des jeunes restent encore à développer et peuvent être assurés en partie par le médecin généraliste avec une consultation dédiée. Composite statues of gold (chrysos), ivory (elephas), and other precious materials were the most celebrated artworks of classical antiquity. Greek and Latin authors leave no doubt that such images provided a centrepiece for religious and civic life and that vast sums were spent to producethem. Most women who die from cervical cancer, particularly in developing countries, are in the prime of their life. They may be raising children, caring for their family, and contributing to the social and economic life of their town or village. Their death is both a personal tragedy, and a sad and unnecessary loss to their family and their community.
