Por ello, el objetivo concreto será ofrecer información a los docentes del CEIP Santo Cristo de Santiago, ubicado en Cariñena (Zaragoza), sobre los problemas de conducta que se dan en el aula, trabajando directamente sobre los niños con TDAH y en cómo se debe actuar en el centro escolar para responder a sus necesidades. El TDAH es un trastorno de comportamiento de origen neurobiológico y genético con mayor prevalencia en niños y adolescentes, cuyas características son la hiperactividad, impulsividad y déficit de atención, pudiéndose añadir otras pues, en general, se trata de un trastorno con comorbilidad alta que repercute en las personas a todos los niveles. La percepción que ellos tienen de sí mismos, en todos los ámbitos o en algunos de ellos, es baja, así como su autoconcepto y autoestima, debido a los comentarios, rechazos, actitudes que reciben del exterior (familia, amigos, compañeros, profesores), por lo que el trabajo consistirá en una fundamentación teórica seguida de una propuesta de intervención para docentes basada en técnicas psicológicas y psicopedagógicas, con la intención de abordar los problemas que se generan en el aula con el alumnado que padece TDAH hasta concluir en un aspecto esencial: la necesidad de formación continua del profesorado.
