Allegiance of Christ, in its present posture, necessitous yet hopeful, makes a demand on him who pleads it, in View of which he may well tremble. What words-shall he speak, so that something may be added to the power of the church in this work of love? His duty is plain. Let him take his position on the foundation which Christ has laid, and exalt the unchanging principles of his kingdom.
