Those are called reflective verbs whose subject and regimen are the same person or the same thing; asje me divertis, I diverted myself; tu te flattes, thou flatterest thyself; il se blesse, he wounds himself, &c. Those are called7reciprocal verbs which have several subjects which perform upon each other the thing expressed by the verb. Let medians se trompent mutuellement, the wicked mutually deceive each other; that is to say that some wicked persons deceive other wicked persons, and are reciprocally deceived..
