Written by the Supreme Patriarch of the Armenian Church, it describes the events which occurred from April 1734 to November 1736 in northern Iran and Transcaucasia. This volume explores the troubled eighteenth century in Iran, between the collapse of the Safavids and the establishment of the new Qajar dynasty in the early decades of the nineteenth century.
