This report describes the problems with measuring working time coherently across countries in the European Labour Force Survey, with a special focus on actual working time in the reference week of the survey. "To ensure and monitor the quality of the Labour Force Survey (LFS) data, an intensive data quality program has been developped over the years for this survey. This document concentrates first on the quality indicators produced regularly for the LFS to measure and monitor survey data quality.
