Mentorship is a catalyst capable of unleashing one's potential for discovery, curiosity, and participation in STEMM and subsequently improving the training environment in which that STEMM potential is fostered. "Sidney Patrick Grauman (1879-1950) was the dominant movie palace impresario west of Chicago in the 1920s and one of the most flamboyantly successful theatrical talents ever associated with films. His story is the story of early motion pictures in Hollywood, a colorful and fascinating tale that needed to be told. Charles Beardsley has captured the narrative of Grauman's life using the words of the press, the accounts of friends, and analysis of his works. It is indeed a comprehensive and enlightening effort.
