Book Description
Principles for Christian Living is a gift of inspiration, encouragement and prodding to believers to live the way that Christians should live so they can reap the great rewards of a Godly life. Those principles of faith, discipline, obedience, forgiveness, commitment, hard work and sharing are brought beautifully to life through the experiences Rev. Ramsey had growing up poor financially on a Georgia farm but enriched with devoutly religious parents who ensured that he knew God at an early age. He shows how these principles apply to people's real lives and daily challenges. In today's world - a world full of turmoil and obsessed with material goods and riches, a world that glorifies greed, lewdness and indifference to the needs of others, a world where "Love thy neighbor" is largely ignored - this is the kind of book people need desperately. And Rev. Ramsey, who lives these principles daily and preaches them from the pulpit constantly is just the person to write it.

Biblical Principles for Christian Living

Biblical Principles for Christian Living PDF Author: François Akoa-Mongo
Publisher: CreateSpace
ISBN: 9781490377834

Languages : en
Pages : 238

Book Description
The intention to write this book to repeat among today's Christians the Antioch's experience. To teach believers ways each one of us would be capable to live in full the new life we have received in Christ. That new life is expressed through cultivated attitudes and habits modeled after Christ. These attitudes and habits become visible by the outsiders in the believer's daily practices. The Rev. Charles Stanley, for example wrote his 30 biblical principles which guide his life The calling of those who have received a new life in Christ is to live according to what is taught through the Bible . We are called to put new wine in a new wineskin as Jesus said in Mark 2:22 " And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins." Here are the 12 Fundamental Biblical Principles for a Christian Living. 1-Believing that through faith in Christ, you have received eternal life. John 5:10-13. 2-Loving God with all the heart, all the mind, all the strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves. Mark 12:30-31. 3-Reading, memorizing, meditating, being guided and knowing that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. I Pet. 2:2. 4-Praying daily to God, and living daily in his presence. Ephesiens 5:20; I John 1:9. 5-Confessing the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord without reservation. Matt. 10:32; Acts 8:36-38 6-Avoiding temptations. Doing everything and asking God not to let you give in in temptations. Psalm 1:1; I Corinthians 10:13 7.-Witnessing to others about Jesus Christ. Acts 1:8; Romans 10:13-14; Matthew 4:19 8- Serving the Lord with Gladness. Psalm 100:2; Hebrews. 10:25 9- Standing firm on the Word of God. II Pet. 2:1-3 10-Living in Communion with the Holy Spirit II Cor.13:14; John 16:13, Gelatins 3:3. 11.Being a separated Christian, a person who lives a sanctified life. 2 Cor.:14-18; 12. Forging other as you have been forgiven. Ephesians 4:31-32; Matthew 18:23-35 The difference between these biblical principles and the Ten Commandments or any other rules and regulations we have in the church is that the one who has chosen these principles or an expended ones, makes them his or her ways of life. He or she lives them no matter who sees or does not see him or her. No outside force or control is at work in order to live that way. The Spirit of God and his Word work through the one who first, has given self to Christ, and second has let the Spirit help him/her to live this new life in Christ. The goal is to repeat and to multiply the Antioch's experience today among the believers.
