Britons and Anglo-Saxons offers an interdisciplinary approach to the history of the Lincoln region in the post-Roman period. It is argued that, by using all of the available evidence together, significant advances can be made in our understanding of what occurred. The Anglo-Saxon influence on the Carolingian world has long been recognised by historians of the early medieval period.
