The following pages are prepared from stenographic notes and represent with substantial accuracy the lectures as they were delivered to the students. As the subject was large and the number Of lectures small, I endeavored to make the course as practical as possible and considered only those diseases of the skin which every physician in general practice should at least be able to diagnose and to treat in an intelligent manner. If Ihave succeeded in making such a presentation of the subject these lectures should be found Of service not only to the student but to the physician engaged in general practice.
