Para atingir seus objetivos, a metodologia aqui proposta tem como ponto de partida a selecao de terras apropriadas ao desenvolvimento de politicas setoriais de producao, seguida pela selecao dos produtores segundo perfil especifico para o que se pretende produzir e, finalmente, no desenvolvimento de recursos humanos, de maneira a estimular o desenvolvimento do agronegocio em todas as fases da cadeia produtiva. Os beneficiarios imediatos deste novo modelo sao as familias rurais selecionadas e a sociedade em geral, uma vez que, ao tornar-se o assentado um gerente do agronegocio, resolve-se as questoes fundiarias e os conflitos sociais, tornando o assentamento nao mais um problema social, mas um indutor do desenvolvimento sustentavel.
