There are perhaps a million here in North Carolina Who do not recognize God and Christ at all. State Missions have aided in establishing, and sup porting churches and from time to time the State Missions have given small amounts for many churches enabling them to build, or make repairs. In many places they have helped purchase lots and build. At present, the salaries of about one hundred sixty pastors of this state are paid in part from our State Mission fund.
