For this purpose, getting rid of panic attacks depends on identifying the triggers and causes. It may look like they're coming out of nowhere one time you're cooking they happen, and another time you're driving. But bear in mind that you can be anywhere in your mind. You may have been different places, but what happened to your mind was similar? Trust me there's some sort of trigger, and discovering the trigger is all it takes to get rid of anxiety attacks. Because most doctors suggest drugs (which can cause addiction!) against panic attacks, it is imperative that you find the right way to cure the illness. I have rid myself of chronic anxiety and attack episodes that's the best way to do it. And by preparing yourself, you can do it. It may sound hard, but it's not as hard as it sounds to prepare your mind for something. There's a point in your mind that nothing can affect you-no threats, no anxiety. You can think of anything you want, and when I stopped my panic attacks, I used this to my full advantage. Scientific research shows that underlying triggers panic attacks-and you can stop panic attacks by conditioning your mind hours before they happen. This is called the "one movement technique" and is how I stopped my attacks of panic. The basic math here is: suffering= suffering+ resistance. Could perception decrease pain sensation? Not exactly, but by illuminating and even eliminating our resistance it can significantly reduce the total suffering we experience. Pain is an admonition. It provides us with knowledge and inspiration. If you're putting your hand on a hot stovetop, sensing the pain is essential to quickly remove your hand and prevent burns. To protect our bodies from further harm, we need the feeling of pain. Pain teaches us new ways of moving as well. If on the weekend you constantly hurt your back, the discomfort will let you know that you need to rest and you need to find a more safe way of working or playing. Chronic pain is harder. Through long-term pain, it is difficult to find any redeeming value. We've all learned our lessons, but it's still going on, so not much can be done about it. Mindfulness is extremely valuable in alleviating the experience of all kinds of pain, but it is particularly effective on a daily basis for those who are likely to hurt.
