Book Description
The authors present measurements of partial branching fractions of B 2!KX, B 2!K° X, and B 2![pi]+X, where X denotes any accessible final state above the endpoint for B decays to charmed mesons, specifically for momenta of the candidate hadron greater than 2.34 (2.36) GeV for kaons (pions) in the B rest frame. These measurements are sensitive to potential new-phisics particles which could enter the b 2!s(d) loop transitions. The analysis is performed on a data sample consisting of 383 x 106 B{bar B} pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e+e− asymmetric energy collider. The results are in agreement with standard model predictions and exclude large enhancements of the inclusive branching fraction due to sources of new physics.

Book Description
Charmless semileptonic decays, {bar B} 2!X{sub u}l{bar {nu}}, are studied in a sample of 232 million B{bar B} decays recorded with the BABAR detector, in events where the decay of the second B meson is fully reconstructed. Inclusive charmless decays are selected in kinematic regions where the dominant background from semileptonic B decays to charm is reduced by requirements on the hadronic mass M{sub X} and the momentum transfer q2. The partial branching fraction for {bar B} 2!X{sub u}l{bar {nu}} decays for M{sub X} 1.7 GeV/c2 and q2 8 GeV2/c4 is measured to be [Delta][Beta]({bar b} 2!X{sub u}l{bar {nu}}) = (0.87 ± 0.09{sub stat} ± 0.09{sub sys} ± 0.01{sub th}) x 10−3. The CKM matrix element.

Book Description
The authors present preliminary measurements of the branching fraction and the CP-violating charge asymmetry in the B[sup +] --> K[sup 0][pi][sup +] decay, and a preliminary measurement of the branching fraction of the B[sup 0] --> K[sup 0][bar K][sup 0] decay. No evidence of direct CP violation in the B[sup +] --> K[sup 0][pi][sup +] mode is observed. The B[sup 0] --> K[sup 0][bar K][sup 0] measurement constitutes the first observation of this decay channel: the probability of obtaining the result assuming the null-signal hypothesis is 3.4 x 10[sup -6]. The authors have also searched for the B[sup +] --> [bar K][sup 0]K[sup +] decay and set an upper limit on its branching fraction at 2.35 x 10[sup -6] at the 90% C.L. The branching-fraction measurements reported here are consistent with previous measurements of the same quantities, but are extracted from a data sample larger by a factor of 2.6.

Book Description
The authors present measurements of the branching fractions for the charmless two-body decays B° →??− and B° → K+?−, and a search for the decay B° → K+K−. They include the effects of final-state radiation from the daughter mesons for the first time, and quote branching fractions for the inclusive processes B° → h+h'−n?, where h and h' are pion or kaons. The maximum value of the sum of the energies of the n undetected photons, E{sub {gamma}}{sup max}, is mode-dependent. Book Description
We report a measurement of the inclusive charmless semileptonic branching fraction of B mesons in a sample of 89 million B{bar B} events recorded with the BABAR detector at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance. Events are selected by fully reconstructing the decay of one B meson and identifying a charged lepton from the decay of the other B meson. The number of signal events is extracted from the hadronic mass distribution and is used to determine the ratio of branching fractions [Beta]({bar B} → X{sub u}l{bar {nu}})/[Beta]({bar B} → Xl{bar {nu}}) = (2.06 ± 0.25(stat) ± 0.23(syst) ± 0.36(theo)) x 10−2. Using the measured branching fraction for inclusive semileptonic B decays, we find [Beta]({bar B} → X{sub u}l{bar {nu}}) = (2.24 ± 0.27(stat) ± 0.26(syst) ± 0.39(theo)) x 10−3 and derive the CKM matrix element.

Book Description
We present measurements of branching fractions and charge asymmetries for charmless B-meson decays to three-body final states of charged pions and kaons. The analysis uses 81.8 fb[sup -1] of data collected at the[Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric B Factory. We measure the branching fractions[Beta](B[sup+][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup+])= (10.9[+-] 3.3[+-] 1.6) x 10[sup -6], [Beta](B[sup+][yields] K[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup+])= (59.1[+-] 3.8[+-] 3.2) x 10[sup -6], and[Beta](B[sup+][yields] K[sup+]K[sup -]K[sup+])= (29.6[+-] 2.1[+-] 1.6) x 10[sup -6], and provide 90% C.L. upper limits for other decays.
