"The 2013 CAG Human Services Coordinated Transportation Plan (CHSCTP) is an update to the original plan adopted in 2007. SAFETEA-LU (Safe, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act: a Legacy for Users) enacted by Congress in 2005, required the development and continual update of a Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan. The CHSCTP is still a requirement under the newly-created transportation bill MAP-21 (Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century). However, under MAP-21 a consolidation of programs found under the earlier bill occurred, only leaving the core of human services intact.
