Accounts where the accountant answers that he has received no issues are as a rule omitted; and in the class headed Sheriffs' seizures it has not been thought needful to give more than the first account enrolled, of which the subsequent accounts are I merely repetitions. The List has been compiled by Mr. C. G. Crump, of the Public Record Office, under the general supervision of Mr. S. R. Scargill-bird.
