La presente publicación se ocupa, desde una perspectiva investigadora policial, de los delitos regulados por los artículos 325 a 331 del Código Penal español. No obstante, la práctica totalidad del libro se centra en el tipo básico del delito ecológico tradicional, regulado en el artículo 325 CP. También se explican los distintos procesos de investigación que se pueden dar en este tipo de delitos, lo que nos lleva a adentrarnos en las diferentes técnicas de investigación de que se pueden servir los diferentes cuerpos policiales, ya sean estatales, autonómicos o locales. Como resultado de todo ello, se detalla la confección y tramitación de un atestado especializado tipo en esta materia, que puede servir de guía, sobre todo, a las policías menos experimentadas en las investigaciones ambientales.
