Salvatore Mazzamuto è professore emerito dell’Università Roma Tre nel cui Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza mantiene per incarico la cattedra di Diritto civile. Ha insegnato anche nelle Università di Palermo, di Catania e di Siena. È direttore della Scuola Dottorale Internazionale Tullio Ascarelli e membro dell’Accademia dei giusprivatisti europei di Pavia. È condirettore della Rivista Europa e diritto privato e ha partecipato alla cura del Manuale di diritto privato europeo in tre volumi (Milano 2007). Nella collana ha pubblicato i seguenti altri volumi: La responsabilità contrattuale nella prospettiva europea (Torino 2015) e, insieme ad Armando Plaia, I rimedi nel diritto privato europeo (Torino 2012).
