Presentamos una serie de textos de personas expertas en el estudio de las masculinidades y la igualdad de género, provenientes de distintas disciplinas científicas tales como la antropología, la sociología y la educación, y de diversas universidades y países. Entre los temas que se abordan destacan la relación de los hombres (vistos con perspectiva de género) con la identidad, la crisis, el cuerpo, los cuidados, la paternidad, el cine, la prostitución y el deporte. Así, se trata de un esfuerzo colectivo por dotar de sentido crítico al análisis de la masculinidad, que permita favorecer una reflexión en profundidad sobre las lógicas estructurales que sustentan el modelo de masculinidad tradicional (en demasiadas ocasiones tóxica) en un contexto social protagonizado por las reivindicaciones feministas y por una situación de pandemia global que, sin embargo, puede favorecer el despliegue de ciertos, e incluso nuevos, espacios de posibilidad para el viraje de la masculinidad hacia un escenario más justo e igualitario.
