Ground Water Pollution in Arizona, California, Nevada & Utah PDF Author: Dean K. Fuhriman

Category : Groundwater
Languages : en
Pages : 268

Book Description
An investigation to determine the ground water pollution problems which exist in the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah was conducted. Data were obtained through an extensive review of the literature and through interviews with engineers, scientists, and governmental officials concerned with water pollution in the four states of the project area. Mineralization of ground water is the most prevalent factor in the degradation of ground water quality in the project area. Large quantities of ground water in each of the four states are undesirable for many uses because of excessive mineralization. Much of the mineralization of ground water is a result of natural processes. A listing of conditions causing ground water pollution in the project area is included.

Groundwater in the West PDF Author: Zachary A. Smith
Publisher: Academic Press
ISBN: 1483220265
Category : Nature
