Estimation of Ground-water Discharge to Streams in the Central Savannah River Basin of Georgia and South Carolina
Author: J. B. Atkins
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Groundwater flow
Languages : en
Pages : 46
Book Description
“Ground-water discharge to streams was estimated in the central Savannah River basin near the U.S. Department of Energy, Savannah River Site, and adjacent parts of Georgia and South Carolina using hydrograph-separation techniques and a drought streamflow analysis. The estimated mean-annual ground-water discharge determined from the hydrograph-separation method indicates a greater ground-water contribution to streamflow for Upper Three Runs than for Butler, Brushy, or Brier Creeks.”
