The holy apostles, enlightened and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, carried the indescribable wealth of God's goodness into the whole universe: the Son of God, who came to the world in flesh, preached; faith in Him was planted in the hearts of men; they denied idoloress, peoples, darkened by the darkness of the ignorance of God, enlightened; the eyes of the heart blinded to the knowledge of the true God opened; founded the Church of God on the face of the whole earth; gathered a single blessed herd from different nations, like wild animals, gathered; The Holy Trinity — the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the one God — was taught to read; they lit the fire of God's love in the hearts of believers and affirmed the hope of life and the bliss of the next century, as it is written about them: they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. (Mk. 16, 20 ). * * * Christ the Lord the King of Heaven, having come to earth and having done the work of eternal salvation on earth, has sent His saints and apostles to all the countries and cities of the whole earth to proclaim His coming and His coming salvation to them. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. ( Mark 16:15 ). These messengers of God and faithful servants of Christ went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. ( Mark 16, 20 ).

Benefaction and Patronage in Leadership
Author: Nathan Nzyoka Joshua
Publisher: Langham Publishing
ISBN: 1783685026
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 346
Book Description
Since antiquity, many have come to view benefaction and patronage in a negative light, largely due to the increasingly immoral motives of those involved in systems that can be exploitative or corrupt. Dr Nathan Joshua provides a counter to this perception and instead draws attention to the goodness of godly benefaction and patronage from an African Christian perspective. Dr Joshua gives a detailed historical analysis of the Pastoral Epistles in the social context of benefaction and patronage in the first century AD, while offering a comparative study on how to carefully apply the values of benefaction and patronage in light of Paul’s perspective in the Pastoral Epistles, in Christian life and leadership. This is a valuable resource addressing the need for leadership with integrity, and challenging the negative outlook surrounding benefaction and patronage today.

“Wealth without work Pleasure without conscience Science without humanity Knowledge without character Politics without principle Commerce without morality Worship without sacrifice. https://vidjambov.blogspot.com/2023/01/book-inventory-vladimir-djambov-talmach.html If Prayer , or invocation of the name of God, belongs to the threefold Christian duty: to duty to God, duty to oneself and duty to one's neighbor. 1) It is our duty to God to show our faith in Him by prayer and His calling, that we truly believe in Him, we don’t know any other God except Him, we confess the source of all His blessings, hope on Him, as on The True Father, Who loves His children and offers what he asks, just like children in the flesh do not come to a strange father, but to their own, from whom they were born, they come with petition. And the apostle says: “How to call on him in whom they have not believed” ( Rom. 10:14 )? And the Lord God Himself says: “I am the Lord your God” ( Exodus 20: 2 ), that is, know Me alone, confess, trust Me alone and seek all good from Me. “Call Me on the day of your sorrow, and I will deliver you” ***** ( Ps. 49:15 ). 2) Duty in relation to ourselves: since we are both physically and spiritually meager, poor and cursed, we must in faith seek all good from the Giver of all blessings - Heavenly Father. 3) The following applies to the duty concerning the neighbor: Christian love requires us to pray for our neighbor, and both ourselves and him should be asked for good from our God, as the apostle says: “Pray for each other to be healed” ( James 5:16 ).
