Os capítulos apresentados neste livro trazem um relato de experiência de professoras no ensino indígena na Amazônia Setentrional, em um território indígena cuja realidade de vivência é permeada pela valorização da diversidade e da luta indígena, a despeito das dificuldades existentes em termos de locomoção e de comunicação na remota localização do Uiramutã, em Roraima. As análises destes capítulos foram organizadas neste livro tomando como elemento de aglutinação a abordagem educacional aplicada à análise da realidade dentro de um macroeixo de pesquisa relacionado a estudos de caso sobre a Educação Indígena no município de Uiramutã, no extremo norte de Roraima.
