There were 45 original members. The present member ship is 173, classed as 147 active, and 26 corresponding members. The Society is not incorporated. It has pub lished four volumes of Proceedings. The annual dues are three dollars; the entrance fee is one dollar. The Society meets on alternate Saturdays from October to May, at 8 P. M., in the Assembly Hall of the Cosmos Club.
