Book Description
This Deadly Ancient Spirit Has Been Tolerated, Accepted, and Now, Celebrated. It Must Be Exposed and Expelled! Is it possible that the strongholds you are dealing with in your life, city, and nation are the result of an ancient demonic entity intent on releasing absolute chaos and destruction? This insidious spirit has been embraced by culture and, in many instances, accepted by religion—including many expressions of Christianity. Though this spirit takes on many names—Lilith, Ishtar, Jezebel, Cybele, Mami Wata, Santa Muerte, goddess Isis—it can be traced back to the Queen of Heaven. The late C. Peter Wagner, Rebecca Greenwood's mentor, commissioned her to take his extensive spiritual warfare studies on the Queen of Heaven to the next level—a revelatory teaching that both exposes this ancient demonic entity and empowers believers to overcome its everyday influence. Dr. Wagner recognized Rebecca’s unique anointing to address this topic and help believers demolish ancient strongholds that permeate our society and shut every demonic doorway over their lives. In Dethroning the Queen of Heaven, Rebecca teaches you how to: Identify the tell-tale symptoms of this spirit’s presence and operation in your life. Avoid and cancel generational bloodline strongholds that impact your family and children. Expose how the Queen of Heaven is fueling the rampant corruption and lawlessness in every area of society. Discover the ties between goddess worship and modern practices of wicca. Learn prayer strategies to overcome this demonic structure for you, your region, and even your nation. Discover how to shut the spiritual portals, close the ancient gateways, and forever cancel this demon’s malicious agenda to destroy your life and wreak havoc in your nation!

Missing Mary

Missing Mary PDF Author: Charlene Spretnak
Publisher: Palgrave Macmillan
ISBN: 9781403963987
Category : Juvenile Nonfiction
Languages : en
Pages : 312

Book Description
What ever happened to the Virgin Mary in the modern Catholic Church? For the past forty years her presence has been radically minimized. In a groundbreaking work, Charlene Spretnak cuts across the battle lines delineated by the left and the right within the Church to champion the recovery of the full spiritual presence of Mary. Spretnak, a liberal Catholic, sheds new light on the dethroning of the Queen of Heaven at Vatican II, and she traces the rise of a grassroots resurgence of Marian spirituality in recent years. She offers fresh reflections on the meaning of Mary, situating the Marian renewal in the larger context of contemporary efforts to correct the barrenness and sterility of modernity. Spretnak also notes that much of the cosmological symbolism traditionally associated with Mary as the Queen of Heaven and the maternal matrix is simpatico with recent discoveries in scientific cosmology about the profoundly relational nature of the Creation. Moreover, Spretnak asserts that a deep loss ensues for women in particular when Mary's female embodiment of grace and mystical presence is denied and replaced with a strictly text-bound version of her as a Nazarene housewife. Complete with a striking insert of contemporary Marian art, Missing Mary is a deeply insightful reflection on Mary in the modern age.

Queen of Heaven

Queen of Heaven PDF Author: Lilla Grindlay
Publisher: University of Notre Dame Pess
ISBN: 0268104123
Category : Literary Criticism
Languages : en
Pages : 291

Book Description
The belief that the Virgin Mary was bodily assumed to be crowned as heaven’s Queen has been celebrated in the liturgy and literature of England since the fifth century. The upheaval of the Reformation brought radical changes in the beliefs surrounding the assumption and coronation, both of which were eliminated from state-approved liturgy. Queen of Heaven examines canonical as well as obscure images of the Blessed Mother that present fresh evidence of the incompleteness of the English Reformation. Through an analysis of works by writers such as Edmund Spenser, Henry Constable, Sir John Harington, and the writers of the early modern rosary books, which were contraband during the Reformation, Grindlay finds that these images did not simply disappear during this time as lost “Catholic” symbols, but instead became sources of resistance and controversy, reflecting the anxieties triggered by the religious changes of the era. Grindlay’s study of the Queen of Heaven affords an insight into England’s religious pluralism, revealing a porousness between medieval and early modern perspectives toward the Virgin and dispelling the notion that Catholic and Protestant attitudes on the subject were completely different. Grindlay reveals the extent to which the potent and treasured image of the Queen of Heaven was impossible to extinguish and remained of widespread cultural significance. Queen of Heaven will appeal to an academic audience, but its fresh, uncomplicated style will also engage intelligent, well-informed readers who have an interest in the Virgin Mary and in English Reformation history.

Book Description
The Bible bears record that Mary was the mother of Jesus. However, the modern image of Mary has grown to include honors such as "the Queen of Heaven." Is this modern image from the Bible? Or, has this image been engineered from ancient myths of goddesses? According to the Roman Catholic Church, Mary is not only queen of Heaven, but also is mother of God, was immaculately conceived, and was bodily raptured to Heaven. Roman Catholics, including the pope, pray to Mary. Such accolades are appropriate only for God. In fact, they are shockingly similar to the characteristics of the ancient goddess Diana. Jeremiah 7:16-18 (KJV) 16Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. 17Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. The Bible certainly speaks of a "queen of heaven." Concerning this title, the Biblical report is not good. God states those who worship this queen provoke Him to anger. Obviously, God did not establish the office of queen of heaven, and He did not promote anyone to that rank. Yet, the Roman Catholic Church has created that office, and without God's approval or Mary's approval, for that matter, installed Mary into it.
