Existing design criteria for these sheet-pile drop structures have been based on a maximum drop of 6 ft. The objective of this study was to determine the feasibility of using a 10-ft drop and develop design guidance pertaining to the higher drop. A drop structure design based on a study conducted by Colorado State University (CSU) was adopted for the 10-ft drop.
