The Joint Readiness Training Center was established more than two decades ago as a combat training center (CTC) for joint special operations forces (SOF) and light infantry. At the core of those training objectives was the desire to exercise the collective training skills of those forces. To that end, the United States has used its technical prowess and industrial capability to develop decisive weapons that overmatch those of potential enemies.
