This publication contains the occupational titles from the CanadianClassification and Dictionary of Occupations (CCDO), listed by each of theHolland Code combinations, sorted in 7-digit numeric order. It also contains the CCDO occupational titles in 7-digit order, each with the Holland Code which describes it. The codes which Holland used to describethe occupations contained in the Vocational Preferency Inventory, were usedto describe the Canadian occupations which were identical. The occupationsfrom the Vocational Preference Inventory were used as benchmarks for assigning codes to the occupations which were considered similar inenvironment. The remaining occupations were assigned codes according toHolland's Environmental models; that is, the environment of each occupationwas determined and appropriate codes were assigned which described theenvironment of each of the occupations.
