Les récentes avancées en microélectronique ainsi que les importants besoins dans le domaine biomédical suscitent actuellement un vif intérêt pour l’étude de bio-capteurs dont la miniaturisation permet de travailler proche de l’échelle cellulaire. Entre autres, nous démontrons l’intérêt d’utiliser des résonateurs ou filtres microondes planaires comme dispositifs d’étude de cellules uniques et nous développons une méthode de bio-détection originale permettant de discriminer différents types cellulaires en fonction de leur propriétés diélectriques. L’étude de cellules souches cancéreuses est aussi débutée et démontre le fort potentiel des capteurs développés pour les applications de tri cellulaire.
