Book Description
Excerpt from The Farm Income Situation: The 1962 Outlook, Cash Receipts Through September 1961 The average of all crop prices in 1962 will likely be up from 1961 due to the influence of expected higher average prices for food and feed grains while crop marketings likely will be slightly less in volume. Stocks of wheat and feed grains, which have been excessive for a number of years, are expected to decline slightly by the end of the 1961-62 marketing year. Prices received by farmers for wheat will be higher next year because the minimum average support price for the 1962 crop has been set at per bush el, compared with the 1961-crop support price of Corn prices in 1962 are expected to average higher than this year if the current support of per bushel is continued for the 1962-cr0p. During 1961 part of the 1960 corn crop was marketed at the 1960-crop support price of per bushel. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
