Ce travail concerne l'étude spectroscopique du comportement d'inhibiteurs organiques vis-à-vis de la corrosion de l'acier par le dioxyde de carbone. La première partie, bibliographique, est consacrée à la description du phénomène de corrosion des aciers au carbone par le CO2 et à la présentation de l'inhibition de la corrosion par des composés organiques. Dans la deuxième partie, nous présentons les méthodes spectroscopiques mises en oeuvre pour suivre in situ la réactivité moléculaire des surfaces d'acier au cours du processus de corrosion et de formation des films inhibiteurs. Dans la troisième parie, la Spectroscopie InfraRouge par Modulation de Polarisation (PM-IRRAS) et la microscopie Raman confocale sont utilisées conjointement pour étudier la corrosion de l'acier par le CO2 en phase gazeuse et en milieu aqueux. Les résultats observés montrent des mécanismes de corrosion différents suivant la nature de l'interface : acier/phase aqueuse et acier/phase gazeuse saturée en eau. La quatrième partie est consacrée à l'étude par spectroscopie PM-IRRAS de l'adsorption de différentes molécules organiques inhibitrices à la surface de l'acier : un inhibiteur en phase vapeur, la méthoxypropylamine, des molécules simples de type amine et des molécules plus complexes, les imidazolines. L'analyse spectrale de ces films ultraminces montre l'affinité de la méthoxypropylamine pour la surface, son adsorption via le groupe amine et sa capacité à s'orienter perpendiculairement à la surface. L'éthanolamine et la n-décylamine ont également tendance à se fixer par l'intermédiaire du groupe amine en adoptant une orientation préférentielle à la surgace. Les deux imidazolines, de par leurs structures différentes, présentent des modes d'adsorption différents.
