The following rules and regulations relative to the personal hygiene and sanitary administration of the camp are published for the guidance of all concerned and will be strictly obeyed: 1. Sanitary inspector--Assistant Surgeon Edgerton is appointed sanitary inspector of the encampment. 2. Responsibility for Police of the Camp--Company commanders and commanders of separate organizations will be held responsible for the cleanliness and thorough police of their respective camps. 3. Responsibility for the Removal of Waste--Removal of garbage and all other waste, both liquid and solid from the confines of the camp and the disposal of same by burning or other effective means, after such removal, it will be the duty of the Quartermaster's department. 4. Personal Hygiene--Every man will be required to wash his face and hands before each meal. He will wash his feet, and as much as possible of the covered portion of his body, once daily, and will take a bath at least once a week. His teeth will be brushed each day. His hair must be kept well trimmed. Finger and toe-nails must be kept clean and well cut. Proper attention must be given to any corns...
