May. Stem 10 to 15 or 20 feet long, twining, or trailing unless supported; the young branches often quite pilose. Darlington. Leaves about 2 inches long, very obtuse, or with a short blunt point. Flowers about 6 in each whorl, very fragrant: the smooth corolla an inch and a half long, externally red or purplish the limb (large) at first nearly white, soon turning to tawny yellow.
