Cet article explore les relations de collaboration entre une entreprise filiale (Opel Portugal (OP)) d'un constructeur américain (General Motors (GM)), et ses fournisseurs directs localisés au Portugal. Ensuite, les facteurs qui influencent l'établissement et le dévelopement de ces relations de collaboration, sont identifiés. Deux modèles sont alors présentés : (a) un modèle d' analyse les relations professionnelles dans des marchés industriels, où les caractéristiques du partenariat sont introduites en "actor bonds, resource ties and activity links", et (b) un modèle de facteurs contextuels. L'approche méthodologique est qualitative, descriptive et exploratoire.
