Day of Yeshua

Day of Yeshua PDF Author: R. S. Henzerling
Publisher: WestBow Press
ISBN: 1664209611
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 108

Book Description
The Book of Revelation remains the most controversial subject of the Bible. Many won’t talk about it—and even many Christians who’ve read it have not really heard its words. R. S. Henzerling, an ordained minister, confronts the book head-on in this detailed analysis, drawing on Scripture to answer questions such as: • How is it possible so many Christians have heard and read words without really understanding what the Lord is saying? • How should our knowledge and understanding of Scripture affect how we live our lives? • How can we rely on the Word of God instead of interpretations of His word by humans? The Bible clearly tells us to be aware of false prophets and false teachers who will spread and infect false doctrine upon the earth, deceiving man, which is another important theme of the book. Find out what Jesus says about the end times, the signs he told us to watch out for so he would not come like a thief in the night, and how to ensure salvation with the lessons and insights in Day of Yeshua.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John: Using the Bible to Interpret the Bible

The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John: Using the Bible to Interpret the Bible PDF Author: Jeffrey J. Harrison
Publisher: To the Ends of the Earth Ministries
ISBN:
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 0

Book Description
How did the early Messianic believers understand the book of Revelation? How did they understand its often strange and bewildering symbols? The answer is surprisingly simple: they used the Bible to interpret the Bible. Modern scholars have long noted the similarities between the images of Revelation and those found elsewhere in the Bible. But rarely has this been used as a method to interpret Revelation's meaning. By reviving this ancient method, Pastor Jeff Harrison brings clarity to John's visions, and makes their message make sense to us today. Harrison claims no privileged knowledge of the future, but restricts himself to the text of the Bible in the original languages, Jewish culture and religion, and well-known facts of history. The message that emerges is a challenging one, encouraging Christians to faithfulness and devotion in these dangerous last days. The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John is one of Pastor Harrison's most popular seminars. It has been presented to thousands of students in the U.S., Canada, the Philippines, and Taiwan. It reflects his study with some of the top Israeli archeologists and Christian scholars in Jerusalem, and is enriched by his years as a study tour teacher in Israel. This published version includes not only the same fresh translation of Revelation used in the seminars, but also a new literal translation of all supporting scripture verses from the original languages. The second edition includes several small changes including a larger font size, improved clarity at various points in the explanation, and additional references to support assertions made in the text.

The Testimony of Yeshua

Book Description
When I read the book: 'Was the New Testament Really Written in Greek?' I learned that the ""New Testament"" was really translated from the Aramaic Peshitta into Greek. But the only modern English version available was the 1933 Lamsa-very copyright restricted. So I decided to update the 1851 Murdock / 1848 Etheridge versions into modern English. It took 5,000 hours to revise the texts, noting some very interesting differences between the Aramaic and the Greek versions. While I thought that I would find many new insights that were lost in the translation from Aramaic to Greek, I actually found more errors occurring going from Greek into English in most translations My online version has about 2,500 live links to a Greek lexicon for instant verifications. There is no wretched copyright restricting your legal usage, just a required Creative Commons License. There is a sudden interest in the Aramaic text now with several new copyrighted versions available.
