Throughout the book, I will take you back to the home front so you may understand how the war affected family and loved ones back home. GERRY FELD was born in 1951, living his entire life in Minnesota. He attended Cathedral High School in St. Cloud, Mn. graduating in 1969. He is an avid historian of World War Two, Korea, and Vietnam and has built a library of over 900 books on the wars. He served a total of six years with the U.S. Army and the Minnesota National Guard but did not serve in Vietnam. Gerry retired in 2006 after working 32 years for the Minnesota Department of Corrections. He has been married to his wife, JoAnn, for 40 years. They enjoy traveling, cruising, and visiting historical sites no matter where they go.
