Probably some have not been reported, and others may have been created since this Directory was placed in the printer's hands. Revision in the near future will undoubtedly be necessary, and any omissions can then be inserted and mistakes corrected. Associations employing trained visiting nurses are therefore earnestly requested to report all errors or omissions, and to send to the writer their annual reports. By this means accurate information containing the latest developments of the movement may be included in the second edition. For obvious reasons, societies having nurses who are neither grad nates of training schools nor pupil nurses are not included in this record, however admirable their service may be.
