L'objectif de notre étude concerne l'adaptation du questionnaire de plaintes en mémoire de travail validé chez l'adulte (Vallat-Azouvi et coll., 2012) et sa validation chez l'enfant dyslexique. Le matériel créé et utilisé comprend un questionnaire composé de trois formes : une forme parent (12 questions), une forme enfant (24 questions) et une forme enseignant (12 questions). En sus, des épreuves cognitives ont été réalisées par les sujets dyslexiques. L'étude de validation de notre questionnaire sur une population d'enfants contrôles et sur une population d'enfants dyslexiques montre une bonne validité et sensibilité. D'autre part, elle montre peu de corrélation entre le questionnaire de plaintes en mémoire de travail chez l'enfant et les troubles cognitifs. Ce constat se retrouve également dans le questionnaire de plaintes en mémoire de travail chez l'adulte. L'intérêt de notre questionnaire est donc d'évaluer des plaintes en mémoire de travail chez l'enfant dyslexique de manière plus écologique que les tests cognitifs.
