Wallace (1823-1913) was a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, anthropologist and biologist. He is best known for conceiving the theory of evolution through natural selection - his paper on the subject being jointly published with some of Charles Darwin's wrtings in 1858. He was the 19th century's leading expert on the geographical distribution of animal species and his interest in natural history resulted in his being one of the first prominent scientists to raise concerns over the environmentall impact of human activity. Aside from his scientific work he was a social activist who was critical of what he saw as an unjust social and economical system, and he was a prolific writer on both scientific and social issues.

I present this book as an endeavour to give people like yourself (and Joe Rogan) insight as to how/why many non-conspiratorial thinking humans--with an unbroken line of highly qualified institutional scientists since the start of the >200 year debate, featuring some of the most prominent scientists in the relative field, such as Alfred Wallace and Charles Creighton--have not been convinced there is any benefit in vaccinating. Pretty much everyone (>90%) seems to think this position of disbelief in the lifesaving power of vaccination can only be occupied by conspiracy theorists. The truth is that the conspiracy theorists have become the most popularly understood, their arguments are very easily digested and refuted in this cultural debate. The actual crux of the >200-year debate is a bit more complex: how a PhD virologist in 2019 caters (Stefan Lanka) for not believing in the lifesaving effect of vaccination, without resorting to a conspiracy theory within the point of contention.I, like Richard Dawkins (author of 'The God Delusion'), am not against people believing X, I'm against enforced action upon adults carried out as an implication of believing X, especially when I myself happen to not believe in X. The best I can do to counter this, like Dawkins, is produce a manuscript as to why I'm not convinced, and what it would take for me to be convinced.In light of the growingly-promising prospect of penalty-enforced mandatory vaccination, I have investigated precisely how we as a scientific culture have convinced ourselves that vaccination is beneficial. Featuring the most famous of 'successful' vaccine trials/experiments, and many more: well-controlled experimental trials that have sought to prove the benefit of vaccination, specifically the ones that have been most championed as indications of success. The most relied-upon evidence to support vaccination is analysed in this book, showing precisely where we are at. And of course, I have included my investigation of the most prestigious examples of claimed triumph such as polio and smallpox, whilst steering clear of any kind of conspiratorial thinking, sticking to the beaten path of institutional knowledge and historical events (diagnostic protocol changes), analysing the official track record.With some things, we will probably never know whether we are right, big bang theory, for example. How might we record unseeable phenomena: i.e. those that we convince ourselves exist but which for all we know might not? One way to do this is to arrange circumstances in such a way that the effect of the hypothesised phenomenon, if it exists, will most-definitely be pronounced and observable. This is a scientific approach. When it comes to the claimed life-saving effect of vaccination, what circumstances have we arranged, and what phenomena has been pronounced/observed?It seems not one controlled experiment can be found that has produced an observable lifesaving effect for vaccination (nor even a lowering of disease incidence). How, then, have we satisfied ourselves that such a lifesaving effect really does exist for vaccination? Since recently, in controlled experimental circumstances, we have demonstrated the ability to change the likelihood of certain disease processes occurring through vaccination (comparing to people who have received a saline-injection placebo control). We have also demonstrated that we can change the likelihood that a person will pass positive for the targeted-microbe which we blame outright for causing disease, in a given amount of time during the trial.We are yet to record a series of properly controlled trials (experiments), in any species, measuring and reporting all disease incidence and mortality, and share the results. The closest we appear to have gotten with this, is included in Chapter 2 'Demonstrating the Benefit', vaccine vs saline, 1000+ people, in Japanese nursing homes, very well-controlled, in 2009, the BMJ published it.
