Unitivity Theory Illuminates

Unitivity Theory Illuminates PDF Author: Leroy R. Amunrud
Publisher: AuthorHouse
ISBN: 1449087604
Category : Education
Languages : en
Pages : 50

Book Description
Starting with the solution to any given problem, and then working backwards to check and prove that this given solution is correct, is usually a much easier process than that of going from the problem to its solution. This is the methodology that is basic to this book. The nature of our universe is determined using observations, experimental physics, and "Unitivity Theory, A Theory of Everything" and this nature becomes the starting point for the step by step return to the problem of understanding our unknown universe. When our universe's structure is as simple as 1-2-4, it is established that the structure for our universe is strong enough to carry fields, light, time, atomic energy, and a unified field theory. The 2 here refers to the fact that the space of our universe must contain two rooms. When the space of our universe does contain two rooms, poles, charge, quarks, anti-mass, etc. go from being impossible to understand to being easy to understand. Two of the fundamental laws that contribute to the revelation that our space does have two rooms are the conservation of energy as obtained by using anti-energy and the conservation of action as obtained by using reaction.

Social Entropy Theory

Social Entropy Theory PDF Author: Kenneth D. Bailey
Publisher: State University of New York Press
ISBN: 0791495612
Category : Social Science
Languages : en
Pages : 333

Book Description
Social Entropy Theory illuminates the fundamental problems of societal analysis with a nonequilibrium approach, a new frame of reference built upon contemporary macrological principles, including general systems theory and information theory. Social entropy theory, using Shannon's H and the entropy concept, avoids the common (and often artificial) separation of theory and method in sociology. The hallmark of the volume is integration, as seen in the author's interdisciplinary discussions of equilibrium, entropy, and homeostasis. Unique features of the book are the introduction of the three-level model of social measurement, the theory of allocation, the concepts of global-mutable-immutable, discussion of order and power, and a large set of testable hypotheses.

Illuminating Eco

Illuminating Eco PDF Author: Charlotte Ross
Publisher: Routledge
ISBN: 1351928961
Category : Literary Criticism
Languages : en
Pages : 228

Book Description
Illuminating Eco covers the range of British scholarship on the prolific literary and theoretical work of Umberto Eco. With essays by scholars such as Michael Caesar and David Robey, the volume provides an overview of current research being carried out by a new generation of academics. In addition, it provides an opportunity to view the interaction between Eco's fiction and his theoretical texts and suggests future avenues of research. The interdisciplinary nature of the contributions makes this collection accessible to Italianists and non-Italian speakers alike in order to situate Eco's work in the wider literary and critical sphere. Contributions have been divided into four sections, with the first containing essays that engage with Eco's writing through a strong awareness of the reading strategies suggested and required by his texts. The second section is composed of essays that discuss different approaches to interpretative strategies, including the relationship between Eco's theoretical writing and his own fiction. The third part consists of new responses to Eco's work, each of which questions previous theoretical interpretations and creates new applications for established approaches. Finally, the fourth section contains a written response from Eco himself to some of the questions raised by these essays, and a translation of the final chapter from his most recent publication, Sulla letteratura, which discusses the development of his narrative works from conception to execution.
