Dur ing the First Term of the year he has heard recitations from the Freshman Class, twice a week, in Whately's Lessons on Christian Morals and Christian Evidences, a text-book that has been substituted for Whewell and Paley. Lectures on the Special Duties and Exposures of a College Life have been delivered by this Professor to those students that have been admitted to the Institution within the year. The service of Daily Prayers has been attended by him, in the Chapel, with occasional assistance from the President. He has also been responsible for the supply of the Chapel Pul pit on Sundays.
