The paper aims at determining, within the restriction of some simplifying assumptions, the velocity field induced by a blade row in an axial turbomachine. For a very large number of blades one is led to solve, as a first approximation, a system of non-linear partial derivative equations where appear the functions for blade camber line, meridian stream function, and circulation. An iterative numerical algorithm permits to solve this problem and to obtain the sample results presented. (Author).
