101 Thought provoking questions on life.

101 Thought provoking questions on life. PDF Author: sanjeev sareen
Publisher: sanjeev sareen
ISBN:
Category : Antiques & Collectibles
Languages : en
Pages : 180

Book Description
Most people surrender to and live through their life in mediocracy. They find life as boring when they make no attempt to gain knowledge that should inspire them. Understanding is our greatest need on the spiritual path and on the path of life, no matter what our trials. Remember God never causes harm or suffering to anyone. It is we who by understanding or misunderstanding help or hinder ourselves. The other aspect of life is, each one of us carries within us generations of human beings whose descendants we are. That is why, when we are able to triumph over our own weaknesses through knowledge and working on them, we take this inner family along with us on the path of light and freedom. Not only do we help all our ancestors, but we also help our descendants, for we pass on to them the inner treasures we have acquired. Working on self is all the more important since, in doing so, we improve entire generations: and pass on the fruits of our efforts to them. No one lives or acts solely for themselves; each person lives and acts for a great number of other creatures, for whom they have a great responsibility. The wisdom in this volume is not the studied learning of a scholar but the truth as perceived through learning from a Guru over 25 years, reading of many realized masters-Paramhansa Yoganand Ji in particular, studying life at large and mainly own Meditation practice. This book is designed to provide readers with a brief summary and overview of important individual topics and issues, for quick reference and ease in studying. The works are written in a question-and-answer format. They follow some logical progression so that those reading will receive a greater appreciation of the topic and issues involved. It is said by one realized master that life without understanding is Spiritual and Material suicide. Here Is an opportunity to learn and then make use of the learning for self-growth.

Thought-provoking Scientific Reflections on Religion

Thought-provoking Scientific Reflections on Religion PDF Author: Bahram Varza
Publisher: BoD – Books on Demand
ISBN: 3741231789
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 142

Book Description
Research into wars and the resulting misery and bloodshed shows that, even today, these scourges of humanity are usually rooted in religion. Clearly, the vast majority of believers are influenced by their religious education, convinced that their own faith is the sole guarantor of eternal bliss in Paradise. In order not to jeopardize the blessedness which clerics suggest they will attain and depending on the level of their devoutness, the faithful attempt to obey the wishes and orders of their clergy. The media are full of reports on the destructive outcomes of such blind faith. Faith is, in most cases, the result of the upbringing provided by our parents, who, as our protectors, also have our complete trust. Since children are not able to consider the dogmas instilled in them by their parents in intellectual terms, these dogmas are deposited in our subconscious without qualification. And influence us for the rest of our lives. A religion demonstrates its destructive powers when, for reasons of self-interest and contrary to all reason, clerics are able to present the creator of the universe as a God who is, on the one hand, omnipotent and, on the other, an individual requiring assistance. This trick is employed to lay claim to the services of an omnipotent, retributive God, who punishes unbelievers severely while fulfilling the wishes of believers. In order, however, to win His favour we are obliged to protect this God against ‘infidels’ with our goods and persons as the clerics see fit. This book therefore explores how consistent the traditional concept of God is with the actual creator of the universe.

BEYOND FRAGMENTATION: Interdisciplinary Thought-provoking Theories PDF Author: Mr. Vinod Asudani
Publisher: Rudra Publications
ISBN: 9391333443
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 142

Book Description
A Holistic Ontological Framework of Existence) Nothing exists by itself and nothing perishes by itself. Everything is in relation to others and can be grasped only as such. Be it truth, Enlightenment, the world or humans. All inhere not in and of themselves, but as a function of all others. Einstein came up with the physical theory of relativity, and I won't be off the mark if I say that Dr. Vinod Asudani has, in this triad of theories inaugurated an evoke which would culminate in the ontological theory of relativity, nay relatedness. Dr. Vinod Asudani, though not a philosopher formally, nonetheless is a litterateur of national repute. A litterateur in my opinion is by virtue of the art of words depicting life in a prismatic manner, a philosopher, psychologist, and a sociologist combined.
