During the Cold War Vienna became an intelligence stronghold. Then the Curtain fell. Yet even 30 years later, Vienna is the world leader in espionage. With at least 7,000 spies groping around in the Austrian capital, every second diplomat in Vienna can be linked to his or her country's intelligence agencies; which makes Vienna an ideal location to study stressed out spies, killers and fanatics in the spy scene. This study explores the complex and intricate ramifications of espionage, assassinations and international politics; and concludes that disruptive communication and lack of emotional intelligence among spies are the main causes for Burnout within the Intelligence Community - on a psychological, inter-agency and political level. The study also outlines that neo-Nazi activities are a big problem in Austria - the FPÖ, the ÖVP and the SPÖ Party being responsible for neo-Nazi activities. Hence it is imperative that a denazification is implemented in Austria. This study also examines the KGB in Belarus; which is severely challenged with PTSD and Burnout these days - as recent events in Belarus indicate. The Belarusian authorities, including the KGB security police, have been accused of kidnapping and threatening to kill the Belarusian opposition politician Maria Kolesnikova. Kolesnikova, a trained flautist and music teacher who has emerged as one of the figureheads of protests against the authoritarian leader, Alexander Lukashenko, said she was told by security officers that she would be removed from Belarus "alive or in bits" after she thwarted their plan to dump her in Ukraine. Maria Kolesnikova's complaint included the names and ranks of individual officers of the KGB and the organised crime agency whom she accuses of threatening her, and said she would be able to identify them. So those individuals need to be charged and convicted, so that rule of law can be restored in Belarus. It should also be noted, that on 23 May 2021 - a date which will live in infamy - Belarusian journalist Roman Protasevich, 26, was detained after Belarus's president, Alexander Lukashenko, personally authorized the forced downing of his Ryanair flight travelling between Greece and Lithuania. His Russian girlfriend, Sofia Sapega, was also seized. Hence it is imperative that Alexander Lukashenko immediately releases Journalist Roman Protasevich and Sofia Sapega; as stipulated by international law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

The death and killing of officers, soldiers, civilians, journalists, reporters and innocent children - in both Ukraine and Russia - is so unnecessary and must be stopped. Hence the Russian invasion of Ukraine must end, and Diplomacy and Dialogue must be restored. To achieve that, it is imperative that Vladimir Putin is graciously removed from office - so that Peace and Harmony can be restored between Ukraine and Russia - and the Russian people can be part of the International Community again. An Amnesty should be offered to key people in the Putin regime - to encourage those individuals to do the right thing, and end the war that has cost countless of lives - so that International Law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights can be restored in the International Community. We are also advocating the founding of a world organization that is above all other governments - even above the US, China, the UK, Russia and the EU - so that Peace and Prosperity can be manifested in the world. So until an organization like that is formed in the International Community - it will be the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding which will handle matters - such as bringing Russia and the US into an International Peacebuilding Alliance. Also, the status quo concerning NATO has to change. This means that NATO will have to make room for a new military international alliance sooner or later - that encompasses Russia, the EU, China, Germany and the US - if circumstances allow. However, it's imperative that Peace and Harmony is first restored between Russia and Ukraine. Only then measures can be taken to improve NATO and implement steps to include Russia in an International Peacebuilding Alliance. Speaking before a group of foreign ambassadors to the United Nations on one of his final days in office, President Reuven Rivlin in New York issued a plea to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to "forget about the past" and work together with Israel to achieve peace. "We are not doomed to live to together, we are destined to live together. It's our role to end conflict," Rivlin said in a speech at the tail-end of his farewell tour in the United States. "Let's forget about the past. Let's build confidence. There are opportunities to achieve a bright future for our peoples. We are interested in continuing to work with the UN in order to meet the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza, with whom we have no conflict," Rivlin said. Hence it is imperative that peace and harmony are manifested in Israel-Palestine; and that all parties concerned start working towards a just and fair Middle East peace plan - as well as restoring human rights, human dignity and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in the region. It is also imperative that the Bennett-Lapid government is fair and just; and that policies implemented are free from systemic injustices, so that equal rights and legal equality can be manifested in the land. This also means that Hamas's extremist leaders - in particular Mr. Ismail Haniyeh, Mohammed Deif and Marwan Issa - need to reconcile and make peace with Israel. Otherwise the Gazans must find a new leadership, so that the Gaza blockade can finally be lifted, and the UDHR can be restored in the land. It should also be noted, that more than 2.5 million Palestinians live under Israeli rule but cannot vote in national elections. This must change. All people in the land should be eligible to vote and stand for election - as stipulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This also means that legal equality and equal rights must be manifested in Israel-Palestine by legislation. Hence it is imperative that the Knesset implements the necessary legislation that ALL people in the land are equal under the law, and eligible to vote and stand in national elections. Failure to do so, will increasingly label Israel as an Apartheid State. That is the reality of the situation, Mr Naftali Bennett and Mr Yair Lapid! In other words, the Israeli judicial system alone, will not be able to manifest legal equality in the land. The Knesset - in particular the Bennett-Lapid government - will also have to do its part.

Human rights activist Wang Meiyu, 38, was detained after he stood outside the Hunan provincial police department holding a sign that called on President Xi Jinping to resign and implement universal suffrage in China. He was later charged with "picking quarrels and provoking trouble," a vague offence often given to dissidents. Wang, who began his work as an activist when his home was forcibly demolished, has been detained and suffered torture before. In 2018 after he held up the placard calling for President Xi's resignation, police stormed into his home - victimizing, threatening and torturing him. Wang died on 23rd September 2019, after suffering torture in Chinese custody; bleeding from his eyes, mouth, ears and nose. The author's opinion: President Xi should take Wang's brave call for universal suffrage to heart, and implement universal suffrage in China; so that democracy and civil rights - including freedom of religion for Muslim minorities - can finally be manifested for all 1.4 billion people in China.
