Book Description
Features great scientists, neuropsychologist Dr. James Prescott and Clinical Evolutionary Psychologist Dr. Dale Glaebach. James Prescott says the threat to world peace comes from nations having depriving environments for children and repressive of sexual affection and female sexuality. Dr. Prescott instituted brain-behavioral research, documenting early experiences of mother-infant separation induced varieties of brain abnormalities. Babies should be breastfed and closely nurtured for at least two years for proper brain growth & intelligence, lack of this brings violence, suicide, depression & addiction. Dr. Dale Glaebach explains how patriarchal religious anti-sexualism caused breast-feeding to become "redefined" as an asexual experience, which then causes sexual repression and stigmatization of women. Sexual fears plague a mother's enjoyment, truncating breast-feeding when feelings arise. Evolution has given breastfeeding pleasure the same as sex TO INSURE SPECIES SURVIVAL.

Abstract: Objective: understand the influence of breastfeeding on the experience of sexuality from the perspective of a group of recent mothers. In other cases, breastfeeding did not bring significant changes in the experience of sexuality, contributing to the friendship and partnership between the couple. Conclusions: It is necessary to broaden the perspectives on the theme of sexuality during breastfeeding, perceiving it as a basic human need that needs to be discussed among women, couples and healthcare professionals

Beyond Health, Beyond Choice

Beyond Health, Beyond Choice PDF Author: Paige Hall Smith
Publisher: Rutgers University Press
ISBN: 0813553164
Category : Medical
Languages : en
Pages : 357

Book Description
Current public health promotion of breastfeeding relies heavily on health messaging and individual behavior change. Women are told that “breast is best” but too little serious attention is given to addressing the many social, economic, and political factors that combine to limit women’s real choice to breastfeed beyond a few days or weeks. The result: women’s, infants’, and public health interests are undermined. Beyond Health, Beyond Choice examines how feminist perspectives can inform public health support for breastfeeding. Written by authors from diverse disciplines, perspectives, and countries, this collection of essays is arranged thematically and considers breastfeeding in relation to public health and health care; work and family; embodiment (specifically breastfeeding in public); economic and ethnic factors; guilt; violence; and commercialization. By examining women’s experiences and bringing feminist insights to bear on a public issue, the editors attempt to reframe the discussion to better inform public health approaches and political action. Doing so can help us recognize the value of breastfeeding for the public’s health and the important productive and reproductive contributions women make to the world.
