Reginald fernald was, without doubt, the earliest physician in our Piscataqua plantation, - the doctor who came with Mason, and who practiced on both sides of our river. His home was at Strawberry Bank; yet he owned land in Kittery, and ministered to the sick among the scattered settlers here.
