The Highwaymen represents my first effort at an historical story, but it is still intended as a novel, and a BDSM novel at that. I have tried to keep the tale rooted in its actual time period, moving dates and events as little as possible, with one major change to fit the story. A number of people encouraged my wild idea and helped with research. I am most grateful to Joe T. and Barbary (both of whom supported my history fascination from the beginning), David W.
