The Joint Committee on the Militia reported on whether the Society of Friends and members of the [fire] engine companies should be on the roll. The Committee did not see a need for legislation. However, T. A. Greene submitted a bill: An Act relating to military enrolments, 1841. The second section of Chapter 12 of the Revised Statutes was revived and continued in force.
