In Part V, Marshall recounts tales of the Louisiana territory, Part VI takes on the American Revolution, and Part VII covers the building and rebuilding of the United States through the presidency of Woodrow Wilson. This book is suitable for children of all ages. British author HENRIETTA ELIZABETH MARSHALL (1867-1941) is most widely known for her children's books. She wrote, among others, Our Island Story: A History of England for Boys and Girls (1905) and Scotland's Story: A History of Scotland for Boys and Girls (1906).
