This report presents the findings of the study on industrial fisheries in the Russian part of the Bering Sea region, with a focus on activities off the Kamchatka peninsula. The study reveals that Kamchatka's fishing sector is in a crisis situation characterised by a sharp drop in production potential, and a deteriorating financial return that encourages the illegal harvesting of marine biological resources.
